Introducing an incredibly sweet, kind, and versatile mare to a more active home for the rest of her life.

This is Nikita (Niki), an all-rounder Arabian. She is a mature lady at 16 years old, but in perfect health and still very active with no signs of wanting to slow down. And she does it all.

The perfect match would be somebody who wants to do long distance endurance riding, that is where she excels and enjoys the most. She has competed in 60km, qualified for 80. And I, as a complete newbie to the sport, placed well in a 30k with her this summer.

But you don’t need to want to compete - she would be happy to live with someone who does brisk and/or long trail rides for fun / hobby. She also goes well in the arena for lower level dressage (all gaits, lateral work, flying changes). She also loves to jump and can do small to medium at least. In her past, she has done working equation. And this last month I trained her for mounted archery which she picked up right away.

She is cool and calm with regular exercise, but might need a session of shaking off the dust is she is less active for a while. She goes out on the trails alone and in group, brave, but she likes to be the first, and she should have a skilled and confident rider in case she gets her own ideas about wanting to go briskly.
In the arena, a fairly easy and willing ride from low intermediate to advanced riders.

Kind and easy in all ground work and handling - a favorite of my farrier - absolutely sweet and sociable. Loads and trailers well. She loves grooming and is eager for connection. Can graze, go in a herd (at least with mares, depends on the gelding), easy keeper.
Shod, teeth floated, up to date on all vaccines, etc.
A really great horse who will only go to a great home. Only selling due to our mismatched energies, activity levels, and desired excitement on trails.

Also open to exchange offers if you present a healthy middle-aged 14+, calm, unflappable, kid and aunt safe horse who could participate in low-level versions of the activities listed above on occasion.
